National Theatre Staff Unite for Clean-Up Exercise to Promote a Healthy Environment
On May 20, the Management and Staff of the National Theatre of Ghana joined hands in a spirited clean-up exercise aimed at enhancing the Theatre’s environment and promoting a culture of cleanliness and teamwork.
Staff members enthusiastically weeded, desilted drains, and cleared rubbish in and around the Theatre premises. The exercise, though physically demanding, was met with energy and joy as employees worked together to beautify their shared space.
Speaking on the initiative, Ag. Executive Director Mr. Henry Malm emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, not only for the staff and performers but also for the thousands of patrons who visit the National Theatre.
“This exercise reflects our commitment to keeping the Theatre welcoming and presentable,” Mr. Malm noted. “It also builds unity among our team and demonstrates our pride in the institution we serve.”
The event doubled as a team-building activity, reinforcing collaboration, camaraderie, and shared responsibility among staff members.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the National Theatre remains a safe, clean, and vibrant space for arts, culture, and national engagement.
