National Theatre Hosts First-Ever Town Hall Meeting to Foster Transparency and Staff Engagement
On July 7, 2025, the National Theatre of Ghana held its first-ever Town Hall meeting, an initiative spearheaded by Executive Director Mr. Henry Malm to foster open communication, collaboration, and transparency within the institution.
The event featured presentations by departmental managers, who shared detailed yearly and quarterly projections, highlighting their goals, strategies, and contributions to the Theatre’s overarching mission.
Staff members were also given the opportunity to engage in open dialogue, raising concerns and sharing feedback on both operational and welfare-related matters. This exchange of ideas reflected a growing culture of inclusion and shared responsibility within the Theatre.
During his address, Mr. Henry Malm outlined his leadership vision and recent achievements, reinforcing the Theatre’s commitment to innovation and institutional excellence. As part of the event, he officially launched new security uniforms and staff identification tags, aimed at improving the professional identity and visibility of the Theatre’s personnel.
“Today marks a new chapter in how we communicate and collaborate as one united institution,” Mr. Malm stated.
