National Theatre’s Upcoming Events

FUNWORLD

The children and student show is scheduled for the main auditorium on Sunday 16th June, 2019 at 1:00pm.

WEDNESDAY THEATRE

The special Wednesday Theatre performance comes off at the Folks Place at 7:00pm on 26th June, 2019. It is in collaboration with the 2 Idiots production.

FILM SHOW

The film “3 Idiots and a Wiseman” shows at the monthly event at Exhibition hall. The date is 27th June, 2019 at 7:00pm.

COMEDY SERIES

In partnership with Romanus Empire, the National Theatre presents Comedy Series. It is a comedy show where new comedians get exposure. It is scheduled for 28th June, 2019 7:00pm is the time.

TALK PARTY

It is a spoken word show for both experienced and up and coming poets. It is an interesting show with participants drawn from across the board.

It is scheduled for 6th June 2019 at 7:00pm. It is in collaboration with Ehalakasa the popular poetry group. Featuring are Afriyie, Human Kind, Seyram GH and Elan GH providing music.

CONCERT PARTY

The Akan based variety entertainment show is an old but good form of theatre that continues on at the National Theatre monthly.

Date: 23rd June 2019 at 4:00pm. Featuring are comedians Abenkwan and A1. The drama segment would be taken care of by Bomkasa and Yass Concert Party groups.

HIGHLIFE TIME

The show that features a live band and a Highlife musician provides fresh Hi-Life music to patrons to dance.

Randy Nunoo is to be backed by the Police Band on 14th June 2019 at 7:00pm.
